We Have Room On Our Board!!

Community Coalitions of Idaho is ever growing and changing to meet the needs of today's prevention field. Our most recent board chair has moved on as she will now be taking on responsibilities with other statewide efforts in the world of prevention. We wish Sharlene the best of luck as she moves from the Non Profit side of statewide prevention support to the government side of things.

At our September meeting the membership and board moved to install the Vice Chair as the current chair of our board meaning we have an opening in the Vice Chair. Below is a breakdown of what the Vice Chair will be tasked with doing:

1. The Board of Directors has five officers which comprise the Executive Board:

Chair: (2-year term)

V. Chair: (2-year term)

Secretary: (1-year term)

Treasurer: (2-year term)

Past Chair (1-year term)

2. Eligibility: Elected Officers of the CCI must:

a. Be a member of a participating coalition in good standing with annual dues current;

b. Be an individual defined as someone working in community prevention or supporting coalition work who is in good standing with annual dues current.

3. The Vice-Chair: a. Performs the duties of the Chair in the Chair’s absence or inability to perform the duties of the Chair. b. Serves a term of two years.

Our Monthly Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 11am MST on Zoom.
